could you implement manufacturer selectbox for filtering in category? In each category just manufacurers, that has product in it.

Other useful feature would be possibility to change template in frontend. For example layout with thumbs and layout in table. But admin has to have ability to set what templates are possible for template where template selection is added (uf, hope you understand how I mean it :-) ).

I get the first part - good idea - put it in the tracker for the release on the 18th march.

I think he's asking for the ability to offer the customer a way change layout of a particular category's product listing dynamically, for example Grid or List layout. That would be a very useful feature indeed, for usability purposes.

At least that's what I think he's asking. :P

I want to be able to have more layouts for category. User can change layout he prefers (full, grid etc.).....

Ahh we could do something like that if we allowed for multiple templates for a category and made a tag for a template selector on the page.

I will consider this for the future :)
